Discord Indexer ("DataChad") is a comprehensive service that indexes and organizes files and links shared in Discord servers. The service provides:

  • Discord Bot Integration: Automated real-time indexing of files and links from Discord messages
  • Web Interface: Secure web-based dashboard for browsing and managing indexed content
  • Authentication Systems: Support for both local accounts and Discord OAuth2 authentication
  • Search & Filtering: Advanced search functionality with filters by file type, domain, tags, and content
  • Tag Management: Organizational system for categorizing files and links with custom tags
  • User Management: Admin controls for managing user accounts, permissions, and access levels
  • File Previews: Preview generation for documents, PDFs, and text files
  • Statistics & Analytics: Dashboard with usage statistics and content analytics
  • API Access: RESTful API endpoints for programmatic access to indexed data

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of this service, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, including other users' data
  • Not use the service to store, share, or distribute illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others

  • Message timestamps and indexing timestamps

4.2 Web Application Data Collection

  • User account information (usernames, email addresses, encrypted passwords)
  • Authentication data (login sessions, OAuth tokens, Discord profile data)
  • User preferences and settings
  • Search queries and usage patterns
  • Tag assignments and organizational data
  • Administrative actions and audit logs

4.3 Technical Data

  • IP addresses and access logs
  • Browser information and user agent strings
  • Session cookies and authentication tokens
  • Error logs and performance metrics

This data is used solely for providing the indexing service, maintaining security, and improving functionality. Data is not shared with third parties without explicit consent.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you upload or share through Discord that is indexed by this service. The service does not claim ownership of your content but requires a license to:

  • Index and store your content for service functionality
  • Display your content through the web interface
  • Provide search and organizational features

7. Service Availability
